Viewmark Films is a spin off business from the highly successful Viewpoint Marketing Services – a well known and highly respected marketing consultancy firm.

The agency principal, Gordon Lowe has always had a specific interest in film, television and Australian transport history.
During his time with Viewpoint, he produced many corporate TV commercials and several short documentaries for specific clients.

It was only natural that he turned his attention to the full time production of major documentaries-specifically  chronicling Australian transport history.

His inaugural production Flying Boats on the Clarence was released in 2009. It proved to be extremely popular with Australian aviation and history enthusiasts. The project was widely acclaimed and quickly sold out.

A special edition version was released in 2010 with a running time of 83 minutes. This version has also been well received by the general public-with a reprint planned soon.

Flying Boats on the Clarence was quickly followed by Train Ferries on the Clarence.
It is now on its second reprint. This documentary was such a success that the company produced another documentary New England Airways. Already this film has received wide acclaim.

The company has access to a wonderful array of professionals including vision editors, graphic designers, photographers, camera operators, duplicators, sound engineers, presenters and various researchers. All contribute, to making our productions, as best, as they can be.

Prior to commencing any project, we assess its importance in relation to the preservation of Australian transport history and importantly “as to whether our professionals would want a copy of the DVD on their own shelves.”
